CD Wealth Management CEO Joins University of Texas Economics Advisory Committee
Dallas (April 21, 2022) — CD Wealth Management is proud to announce that Founder and Chief Executive Officer Scott Cohen has joined the Economics Advisory Committee at his alma mater, the University of Texas.
Cohen, who graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in economics, will serve a three-year term on the committee, which works in conjunction with the Department of Economics to support and strengthen its academic goals while providing advice on how the department can better serve students, the school and the state.
“I have such fond memories of my time as a student at Texas, and I am forever grateful for the opportunities and the relationships I found there,” said Cohen, who was a member of the Silver Spurs and Zeta Beta Tau while in college. “It’s an honor to be asked to contribute back to the university, and I look forward to serving the Department of Economics, where my professional journey began.”
Cohen founded CD Wealth Management in 2014. This year, he has been named to the Barron’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors list and was ranked No. 11 in the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list.
