Jules Nored

Senior Registered Client Service Associate

Jules’ career path is a testament to being adaptable and making meaningful connections. She grew up in a military family, and frequent moves in her early years taught her how to welcome new opportunities and to be open to new challenges.

At Louisiana State University, Jules majored in French (she also studied Spanish, Russian and German) while she also worked her way to a purple belt in Taekwondo. She decided she wanted to study abroad as a foreign exchange student during her junior and senior years, so she spent two summers in Europe.

Her language skills helped her land a job as an interpreter at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, which whetted her appetite to see more of the U.S. After graduation, she decided to spend six months — maybe a year — in California.

A chance meeting on the beach eventually led to a job as a live-in nanny for a couple who worked as stockbrokers. Six years later, they helped her get a start in the financial industry, working first as a receptionist for Morgan Stanley in San Francisco and eventually moving into branch administration and then operations before becoming a Senior Registered Client Service Associate.

“My mama said, ‘Always be on your best behavior because you don’t know who you’re going to run into.’ And that has been so true.”

Jules transferred to Texas to be closer to her parents, and after 11 years, she moved to CD Wealth Management. She was drawn by the company’s commitment to caring for its clients and delivering exceptional customer service.

“They sounded like I sounded when I spoke to my clients over the years — warm, remembering things that matter to them, the details of their lives,” Jules said. “Yes, they also want you to know whether they’ve taken their RMD, but the details about their lives are paramount because that’s what creates long-lasting relationships.”

Jules enjoys helping CD Wealth’s advisors prepare for client meetings so they can be more effective: “This is a great system. All I do is follow it, and the advisors are able to spend their time advising and giving guidance and coaching. It’s a well-oiled machine.”
