While LaToya puts much of her focus on helping others, she also appreciates learning from her colleagues, studying the way CD Wealth’s financial planners offer clients advice and looking for ways to complement her teammates’ work styles.

“I like that it’s client-led; it would be selfish if it were advisor-led,” she said. “Service is a big part of my personality. My husband and I have a ministry in our home. At church, we serve. At home, we serve. We serve our family. So it’s a personal thing.”
